I'm a monster

Abby was walking around today with this shirt on her head saying "I'm a monster".


She also created a new way to wear her bathing suit last week:

Ancient building blocks are great for climbing.

Happy Valentine's Day

She is showing off a heart shaped ornament she made in school. Every time I asked her to show it to the camera she put it right in front of her face.

Face Paint

Abby was really excited about her first face paint experience. So much so that she wouldn't stand still for a picture.

Craft Time

These pictures are from December when Abby made Christmas ornaments. The hat is to keep the hair out of her face, since she refused a barrette.





She was pretty neat with the red paint, but when the green paint came out she dove in.

Even though she is perfectly able to say "what is this?" she often reverts to "Da-da?"

She really loves to do crafts now. She points at the few examples of her work we have around the house and says "Did you do that? It's so pretty."

Slide

Nana and Papa gave Abby money for yard toys for Christmas. Last week we bought her a slide and a sandbox. We have yet to locate nice clean sand, but the slide is fully operational.

This first video is her maiden voyage on the new slide. (You can also see how Becca's belly is making room for BIB with two and a half months to go.)

Visiting Daddy at Work

She didn't want to share the whiteboard markers when an employee came in to ask Dan a question. Even though she was holding the red marker she just stared at him saying "I want it" (the green marker) under her breath.
