We had to put the mattress there because she was jumping/falling right on the marble floor.

Baby's First Sentence

Drum Roll Please......

"Dis is pee-pee."

We haven't started potty training, but we started reading a potty training book. She loves the book as well as sitting on her little potty while mom is on the big potty. Pee-pee seems to mean one or any of the following: pee, poop, diaper or potty chair.

Sometimes Abby tries to run in her pack 'n play, either to get away from us or because it's fun. One day right before nap time she tried to run and took a big fall, hitting her head on the wall through the mesh wall of the pack 'n play. When she got up from her nap, she had this on her forehead. Chocolate Shake

We were back at Fudrucker's and Daddy ordered a chocolate shake. We let Abby have some of the second cup for her dessert. She sucked it all down, with complete concentration, without a smile and almost without breathing. She didn't have any interest at all in the (mediocre) chocolate chip cookie that came with her meal. (Mommy ate it.)



Afterwards, she remembered that she knows how to say "eye".

Elmo

Abby has one Elmo video, one Elmo toy and one Elmo book. I guess that's all it takes for a toddler to fall in love with him. The Sesame Street people definitely know what they are doing!



(I think she is trying to say "Please buy me one of those Elmo hats."

What's a Ba-oy?

Abby has made a little detour on her way from saying "Ba!" to saying "Ball!" She goes around all day pointing at balls and say "Ba-oy!" She can say "apple" so she is able to make an "l" sound...
