Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's

There are a lot of really exciting things at Grandma and Grandpa's house:

Cousin Trinity

A few weeks ago Abby met her new cousin, Trinity Skye (with Trinity's grandmother, and Dan's aunt, Anne.)

Zoo

We took Abby to the Stone Zoo this week. Abby was considerably more engaged than she was at the aquarium just 6 weeks ago. It was just the right size zoo for a baby. We saw everything in an hour and half, including a jaguar...



and baby coatis.

Drake's Island

We took Abby for her first visit to Drake's Island, ME where Becca's Aunt and Uncle have a beach house. It wasn't swimming weather but we all had a wonderful time.

It still wasn't quite beach weather on the second day either, but the tide pools called our names the moment we got out of bed.

9 months old

Incidently, she does wear shirts. It just happened to be very hot when she turned 9 months.

Weekly Activities: Farmers' Market

On Wednesday afternoons we go to the farmers' market.



Last week it was so hot we spent most of the time in the shade watching the crowds go by.

Too hot for clothes

Yesterday, Abby took two baths and went in her swimming pool. Fortunately, it is much nicer today.





I saw a onsie that said "Does this diaper make by bum look big?" Well, yes, Abby, this diaper does.

Abby has a small amount of mobility, but it is enough to make a big mess.

We have a very small backyard, but it is big enough for a baby pool.
