On Thursdays we go to a sing-a-long at a local toy store.
The boy in the background is touching his nose because he's happy and he knows it.

Smiles
She definitely understands that she is supposed to smile for the camera.
This last shirt even says "smile".

Almost!
She's just gotta figure out how the back end works.
Here's an outtake from a few days ago.

Big doggie
We already showed you the little doggie in Abby's life. Here is the big doggie, Jackson, with Aunt Lara.
Jackson is a total sweet heart. He puts up with just about anything.

Mmmmm... Sand...
We took a short trip to Gloucester last weekend. We had a nice spot on a cove under a big shady tree. The sand was very soft, clean and, apparently, tasty.
The water was warmer than it was in California, but Abby wasn't completely convinced that it was fun.

Aquarium
Nana, Papa and I took Abby to the Long Beach Aquarium when we were in California last week. In addition to all the fish, there were literally about 500 elementary school children running around; Abby fell asleep from all the excitement after about an hour and a half.

Apple
As you may remember, Abby didn't really like apples or pears when she first tried them. We have just recently gotten her to start eating them by first mixing in bananas.
Here is a video of Abby trying a real apple. Sorry, it is a few weeks old; I was having technical difficulties.

Terra Cotta
We checked out the Terra Cotta warriors at the museum, but Abby was much more interested in the Terra Cotta warrior mime in the lobby. If she develops a fear of statues, we can trace it back to this.
